			---WOWorld! Great Ohio---
				created by ILP

Park History:	In 1928, millionaire business man Barry A. Caskett began
plans and construction for a small amusement park in Canton Beach, Ohio.
He started by opening a wooden rollercoaster, Canton Beach Cyclone, which
at the time was a phenomenal coaster. Caskett charged 5 cents a ride on the
Cyclone. The park was expanded with over 20 attractions, some of which still
stand today such as the ferris wheel (now the Humongo Wheel), the Merry-Go-
Round, Canton Beach Cyclone, and the Haunted House. In 1940 when Caskett
died, he was burried under the Cyclone and rumor has it that he haunts the
Haunted House. His son Robert took over running the park until 1991 when he
died. The park was unopened for 5 years as the rides rusted and had to be
removed when in 1996 WOWorld Amusement Parks Co. bought the park and salvaged
all the original rides they could while transforming it into a state-of-the-
art thrills park.
